Summary
The Go SDK generator gained an opt-in config option,
applyQueryDefaultsOnNilRequest. Go endpoints let callers passnilfor the request struct; until now that path skipped query-parameter encoding entirely, so documented query defaults (x-fern-default, e.g.include_totals=trueorpage/per_page) were never sent, which could break paginated responses. With the option enabled, anilrequest is treated like a zero-value request struct, so the defaults go out on the wire. Default staysfalse, so existing behavior is unchanged unless opted in.Adds one
<ParamField>for the option to the Go generator configuration reference (fern/products/sdks/generators/go/configuration.mdx), in the existing alphabetical order. No SDK changelog entry, per convention.Source: fern-api/fern#17256
